Cambodia and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), an economic block of countries that includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, will hold a business forum in Phnom Penh in early December, state-owned news agency AKP reported on Friday.
The announcement was made after a representative of the Russian firm RSTradehouse met with the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) and the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce. According to the report, Tekreth Kamrang, secretary of state of the MOC, encouraged the company to invest in and purchase Cambodian agricultural products.
RSTradehouse, a distributor for Russian made industrial machinery products and technology, said that the company would hope to increase trade and investment with Cambodia through the business forum.
